Miley Cyrus’ VMA Performance is one act that people will be talking about for years to come. Everyone may have had their own reactions to the star’s provocative dance, but one thing the audience had in common was the shocked look of awe on pretty much everybody’s faces.

What was Miley thinking?! That is the question everybody seems to be asking themselves. But, when asked about Miley’s performance, the boys of One Direction were not shy to joke about their thoughts. Who knew Harry Styles and Liam Paynewere such jokesters?

“It was very reserved. I think she’s quite shy and it’s about time she came out of her shell a bit,” Harry said.

“My thought was that it was very nice. It was a nice performance. It was cute… timid,” Liam Payne said.

Although Miley’s performance was definitely not reserved and timid, we do love the boys sense of humor!

Well that was definitely a performance that nobody was expecting. Confusion, awe and speechlessness were probably a few of the emotions running through just about everybody’s minds as Miley’s performance went on.
